Jackson Morrison, DO

First-year Resident

Jackson Morrison, DO, always knew that he wanted to help people and contribute to his community. The support and encouragement from family, friends, and mentors led him to medical school. He attended Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville where he received his degree in therapeutic recreation and chemistry. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from A. T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. His hometown mentor showed him how valuable and versatile a family physician can be in a small community which is why he decided to specialize in family medicine.

Jackson chose the Lincoln Family Medicine Residency Program for several reasons. Witnessing firsthand the program's outstanding culture, fostered by both residents and faculty, impressed him. Additionally, Lincoln's proximity to his hometown — just a couple of hours away — offers the amenities of a larger city while maintaining the welcoming atmosphere of a small town.

Dr. Morrison is from Maryville, Missouri. He and his wife McKenna love spending time together, going to movies and sporting events, and traveling. He enjoys watching sports, playing video games, and being at the lake. He played football in college and was a member of two national championship winning teams.
