Schedule Your Annual Mammogram
You probably know someone who has been affected by breast cancer. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during her life. That's why Lincoln Family Medicine Center is reminding women who are 45 years of age or older to talk with their provider about scheduling an annual mammogram. If you have a history of breast cancer in your family, your provider may suggest you get screened at a younger age. Mammography is the only available screening used to detect breast cancer before a person has symptoms.
